The challenge

Tufts Medical Center is one of the oldest academic hospitals in the nation, with a very impressive history in research. Though smaller than other medical academic centers, Tufts’ reputation is huge. Yet Tufts struggled in its physician recruitment efforts due to intense competition from other national leaders in the Boston area. So we conducted a branding initiative to help us discover what set Tufts apart.

The solution

Out of that exploratory came a unique message platform for Tufts’ marketing website: You can work for a world-class academic medical center in a large urban area, and still have an immediate impact and do great things. That’s something the competition can’t say.
